Malachi James Kringle

Byron and Ashley (Marple) Kringle of Lincoln are proud to announce the birth of their son, Malachi James. Malachi was born Oct. 19, 2012, and weighed 7 pounds 3 ounces, and was 20 inches long. He is also welcomed home with love by his big sister, Kyla. Proud grandparents are Jerry and Debra Marple of Broken Bow, and Ron and Jean Kringle of Lincoln. Great-grandparents include Pat Gamble of Broken Bow and Don and Phyllis Orr of Greeley, Colo.

Deb Mayor of Broken Bow, and Bob Mayor of Torrington, Wyo., would like to announce the engagement of their daughter, Barbara “Erin” Mayor, to Derrick Clem; both live in Belleville, Ill.
Erin is a 2006 graduate of Broken Bow High School and 2011 graduate of UNL. She is employed as a Team Leader Quality for ConAgra Mills in Chester, Ill.
Grandparents of the bride-to-be are Beulah and the late Kenneth Eggleston of Oconto, and the late Barbara and H. L. Mayor of Buffalo, Wyo.

Travis Sterner of Merna and Wynne Klug of Columbus were united in marriage by the Rev. Aaron Witt Nov. 17, 2012, at Christ Lutheran Church in rural Columbus.
Parents of the couple are Ed Sterner of North Platte and Linda Sterner of Merna, and Jim and Ivy Klug of Columbus. Grandparents are Marvin and Esther Sterner, and Everett and Arlene Moninger of Merna, and Ruth Bakenhus of Columbus.

Julia Amanda Dobesh and Alex David Bauer were united in marriage July 27, 2012, in a 4:30 p.m. ceremony at Christ United Methodist Church in Lincoln.
The bride is the daughter of Dale and Kathy Dobesh of Ansley. She is a graduate of the University of Nebraska Kearney and is currently employed at US Bank.
Grandparents of the bride are Virgil and Edith Ann Sims of Holdrege and Glenn and Jo Rhode of Sumner.

Jacki Giles & Kevin Shelbourn

Jacki Kay Giles, daughter of Rich and Kristi Giles of Halsey, and Kevin Andrew Shelbourn, son of Jerry and Lori Shelbourn of Valentine, would like to announce their engagement and upcoming wedding. The bride-to-be is a 2009 graduate of Sandhills High School and will graduate this spring from Hastings College with a bachelor’s degree in business administration and human resource management.
The perspective groom is a 2006 graduate of Valentine Rural High School and is currently employed by O’Kief Brothers of Wood Lake.
The couple is planning a June 1, 2013 wedding.

She is the granddaughter of the late Art and Pauline Ost of Kulm, N.D. and Lillian Roth and the late Jack Roth of Boise, Idaho.
The bride-elect is a 2007 graduate of Kulm High School in Kulm, N.D., and a May 2012 graduate of the Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture.

Megan Carr and Kevin Beres, both of Kansas City, are planning an April 27, 2013, wedding at Country Club Christian Church in Kansas City. Parents of the couple are Dixie Carr and Marvin Carr, both of Kearney, and John and Karen Beres of Milwaukee. Megan’s grandparents are Norland and Dorothy Carr of Broken Bow.
The future bride graduated from Kearney High School in 2005, and from UNK in 2009 with a bachelor of science degree in industrial distribution. She currently works as a sales engineer at Eaton Corp. in Kansas City.

Taylin Marie Tobias

Taylin Marie Tobias was born Nov. 15, 2012 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney. She is the daughter of Kash and Emily (Stoltenberg) Tobias of Sargent. She weighed 7 pounds, 15 ounces and was 21 inches long.
Her grandparents are Todd and Michele Stoltenberg and Kasey and Kathy Tobias, all of Sargent. Great-grandparents include Ken and Shirley Stoltenberg and Edward and Gloria Schmuecker, all of Atkinson, Zac and Roberta Tobias of Sargent, and Maynard and Joan Scholl of Elgin.

Pastor Dan and Gwenna Rowlison of California, Mo., are blessed to announce the wedding of their son, Chris Rowlison, to Amanda Wilson. Parents of the bride are Merlon and Julia Midyette of Washington, N.C. The wedding took place Nov. 17, 2012, at the Table Rock Church of Christ in Table Rock, with a cake and punch reception following at the Table Rock Theatre.
The couple is employed with retail positions, settling in Jefferson City, Mo.

Tracey Teahon is pleased to announce the birth of her son, Declan Hayes, born Oct. 3, 2012. He weighed 7 pounds, 13.9 ounces and was 20 1/2 inches long. Grandparents include the late Robert and Jessie Condron Teahon.
Welcoming Declan home is a large extended family including Aunt Deanne Halstead of Merna, uncle and aunt Mike and Kelli Teahon of Gothenburg, and first cousins Anthony (Sam) Halstead of Pleasonton, Casey (Taylor) Halstead of Lincoln, Heather Teahon Blecha (John) of Omaha, Joel Teahon (Joslyn Oliver) of Lincoln and Heidi and Jaci Teahon of Gothenburg.
