Ansley claims LVC Championship

The Ansley Lady Warriors defeated the Mullen Lady Broncos to claim the Loup Valley Conference championship. The Lady Warriors won in three sets 28-26, 25-11 and 25-9. Ansley reached the championship game with a win over Arcadia 25-10, 25-17 and 25-19. Mullen edged Sargent 25-19, 23-25, 25-18 and 25-16 to reach the championship game.
In consolation games played Saturday, Sargent defeated Arcadia 25-9, 25-18 and 25-19 in the third place consolation game. Anselmo-Merna defeated South Loup 21-25, 25-17, and 25-13. Sandhills/Thedford won two consolation matches, first defeating Litchfield 25-22 and 25-16 then defeating Loup County 25-13 and 25-8.
