Antique tractor ride today in Bow

June 28, 2013

Diane Anderson irons out last minute details with Dave Denson before taking off on the tractor ride Friday morning. Art Anderson, who had the idea for the event, sits on the tractor with his grandsons ready to lead the parade of tractors.

The first, hopefully to be annual antique tractor ride launched from the Custer County Fairgrounds this morning for a 50-mile scenic trek through the hills surrounding Broken Bow. With an estimated max speed of 12 miles per hour, the 30+ tractors should arrive back in Broken Bow and be at the square around 4 p.m. this afternoon and everyone is invited to greet them as they return.
