Arcadia tops Heartland Lutheran

ARCADIA--Arcadia outscored Heartland Lutheran 18-1 in the second quarter and went on to post a 51-41 victory over the Red Hornets.
Besides the 18-1 second quarter the contest was otherwise close.The Red Hornets won the scoring battle in the first quarter and third quarter, 11-10 and 16-10 and both teams scored 13 points in the fourth quarter. However, the second quarter ultimately proved to be the difference.
Sapphire Sillivan led the Lady Huskies with 23 points and Gabriela Ritz contributed 12 points.

Maxwell 56
South Loup 42

MAXWELL--Maxwell outscored South Loup 33-20 in the second half and went on to defeat the Lady Bobcats 56-42. South Loup outscored Maxwell 12-8 in the first quarter, but Maxwell fought back and would win the second quarter 15-10 and took a 23-22 lead into halftime.
Maxwell outscored South Loup 11-6 in the third quarter and 22-14 in the fourth quarter.
The Lady Bobcats lost the turnover battle 29-14 which proved to be their undoing. Jordan Rush was South Loup's leading contributer with 19 points, 11 rebounds and two steals.
Shayla Dockweiler helped out with 10 points, four rebounds and two steals.

Litchfield 47
Pleasanton 44

PLEASANTON--Litchfield finished the Pleasanton Pre-Holiday Tournament with a 1-1 record and took the third place game 47-44 over Pleasanton. Kaitlin Kratzer was the leading contributer for the Lady Trojans. Kratzer scored 16 points and hauled in 10 rebounds.
Shawna Paitz and Kayla Reynolds helped out with five points a piece.

Arapahoe 50
Litchfield 45

PLEASANTON--Arapahoe beat Litchfield 50-45 in the first round of the Pleasanton Pre-Holiday Tournament.
Taylor Pickar was the leading scorer for the Lady Trojans with 17 points.
Paitz helped out with eight points and Lindsy Siegel dropped in seven points
