Broken Bow dominates St. Paul in Homecoming Victory

October 4, 2013

Broken Bow'a Zac Jones breaks away from the St. Paul defense on his 54-yard touchdown run during the Indians 59-0 victory over St. Paul Friday night.

Broken Bow (3-2) put the game away early Friday night as they cruised to a 59-0 victory over St. Paul (0-5) on homecoming night.

It didn't take long for the Indians to show their dominance as Zac Jones, who would later be nominated Homecoming King, broke through the St. Paul defense for a 44-yard touchdown run just over two minutes into the game, giving Broken Bow a 7-0 lead.

After forcing a three and out, Jeremy Christner did most of the work on the next drive, punching it in from two yards out and putting Bow up 14-0 with 4:36 left in the first.

Jones would also score on a 54-yard run in the first half along with 33 and 72-yard touchdown runs from Marcus Miller.

Noah Garey had the final score of the night with an interception return for a touchdown.

The win marked the second straight shutout for Broken Bow and Mike Garner's 100th career victory.
