Broken Bow Elks Lodge to host Local Hoop Shoot

The Broken Bow Elks Lodge is sponsoring the local Hoop Shoot Jan. 5. It will be held in the activities building for ages 8-13.

Age Groups:

8-9 year olds 8:30-9:00 am compete at 9 am
10-11 year olds 9:15- 9:45 am compete at 9:45 am
12-13 year olds 10:00-10:30 am compete at 10:30

Fast Facts:

-The Elks Lodge National Hoop Shoot is a free throw contest for youth ages 8-13.
-More than 2.5 million youth participate each year
-Beginning at local Elks Lodges, contestants advance through local, district, state, regional and national competitions
-The program is free to participants. The Elks Lodge help sponsor winning contestants and their families at each level of the competition
-One boy and one girl from each age group will win an national title at the National Finals in Springfield, Mass.
