Candidates set to face off in Bow

October 18, 2010

The Western Nebraska Taxpayers Association (WNTA) is sponsoring a candidate forum for Nebraska’s Third Congressional District. The forum will be at the Broken Bow Country Club Friday, Oct. 22, starting at 1 p.m. and ending by 2:45 p.m.
Republican incumbent Adrian Smith will face Democrat Rebekah Davis and Independent Dan Hill in the debate.
No campaign banners, signs, or visual aids supporting candidates will be allowed in the debate facility. Supporters and organizers will be given an area inside the building but outside the debate room to meet.
Members of the public are encouraged to attend the forum to become better informed on the candidates stance on issues affecting residents of this district. As a service to the area, the Chief has provided some information on each candidate to give you an opportunity to familiarize yourself with the three prior to attending next week’s forum. These profiles can be found in the Oct. 14 print edition of the Custer County Chief.
