Clarke Stanford, 75

Mr. Clarke Jack Stanford, age 75, died in him home in Tigard, Ore., Sept. 10, 2012.
Clarke was born Jan. 14, 1937, in Merna. He raised his kids in the Boise Valley, followed his son to Phoenix, Ariz., for a number of years, and settled in Tigard, Ore., with son and grandkids.
He worked as heating and cooling refrigeration, major appliance repair specialist until retiring in 2001.
One of his hobbies he shared with only a select few was his love of drawing. Clarke instilled in his family the importance of Faith in the Lord and family.
Survivors include, his wife of 50 years, Elaine; and his brother, LeRoy of Burton Michigan; his daughter, Susann and husband, Roger Thompson of Kansas City, Mo.; son Steven and wife Beth of Beaverton, Ore.; grandchildren, Dawn and husband, Rich Pennington of Lawson, Mo., Riley thompson of Kansas City, Mo., Nicole Stanford of LaGrande, Ore., and Erika Stanford of Eugene, Ore.; and great-granddaughter, Emerald Pennington of Lawson, Mo.
He was preceded in death by his son, Wayne; parents, Ralph and Irene Stanford; sister, Joanne Daily and Elaine Greigo; and brother, Marvin Stanford.
He will always be remembered for his unique sense of humor and his kindness and love towards his family and friends.
