Davis receives appreciation award

September 21, 2011

Don Davis, left, is awarded by MPCC President Michael Chipps.

Don Davis was given the President's Appreciation Award by MPCC President Michael Chipps in recognition of my part in the growth of the Broken Bow Extended Campus. In his remarks, Davis gave credit for the new facility to the Custer County Economic Development Corporation and a lot of very progressive citizens who know the value of lifelong learning, and credit to the citizens of Custer and surrounding counties for their support of the college's efforts in Broken Bow for the past 11 years. The award was presented Sept. 6 in McCook at an inservice for all the college's employees. MPCC covers 18 counties stretching from Kansas to South Dakota and from Custer County to the Colorado border.
