Divine headlines day for Sargent/Burwell at state

Dakota Divine (285) was the lone wrestler for Sargent/Burwell to advance to the semi finals of the state tournament Friday. Divine got his victories with a 53-second and 1:58 second pin. He will take on another area wrestler in the semi finals in the form of Clayton Lange from Ord who came in with a record of 24-1.

Other results from Sargent Burwell:

Justin Miller (120) fell to Jon Marvin of O'Neill and will wrestle in the consolation bracket. Evan Gideon (132) won his first match before losing a 10-2 decision to Blake Walter of O'Neill, sending him to the consolation bracket. Coby Cassidy (152), Sage Gideon (170), Brock Alejos (182) and Brook Huffman (220) will also be wrestling from the consolation bracket the rest of the way. Huffman won his opening round match before getting edged 8-6 by Pat Cleary of Louisville.
