Four cases heard in District Court

Four criminal cases were heard in Custer County District Court Thursday morning; two involved motions to revoke probation, one plea hearing and one arraignment.
Kandy M. Dunmire appeared on a motion to revoke her probation, which she was placed on June 3, 2010. The motion alleges that Dunmire failed to appear for her probation appointments and has not maintained contact with her probation officer. The motion also alleges that she has not made her assigned payments to the court, that she has not completed a court ordered apology to the victim and that she has not completed community service as ordered. A plea hearing on the allegations was set for Dec. 1. Dunmire remains free on a $1,000 PR bond.
Also appearing on a motion to revoke probation was Cameron T. Bain. The motion alleges that since beginning probation, Bain has tested positive for marijuana, methamphetamine and alcohol, was discharged unsuccessfully from treatment and has not provided verification of attendance of AA meetings. A plea hearing on the allegations was set for Nov. 17. Bain remains free on a $1,000 PR bond.
Crystal A. Twyman appeared for a plea hearing on an amended charge of contributing to the delinquency of a minor, a Class I misdemeanor. She entered a plea of No Contest to the allegation and sentencing was set for Jan. 5, 2012.
April Wise appeared for arraignment on a charge of issuing bad checks - aggregated, a Class IV felony. Wise entered a plea of Not Guilty to the charge. Pre-trial conference was set for Nov. 3.
