Ken Neville dies as result of motorcycle accident

Tragedy struck central Nebraska July 27, 2014, as a one-vehicle, motorcycle accident 3.5 miles south of Broken Bow took the life of Kenneth R. Neville, 60 of rural Broken Bow.

According to Sheriff Dan Osmond, Neville was traveling south on the Sumner Road when his motorcycle, a 2011 Harley, drove off of the roadway, into a ditch and through a barb wire fence. Neville died at the scene as a result of his injuries. He was alone on the motorcycle and was wearing a helmet. The accident was reported at 5:39 p.m.

In addition to the Custer County Sheriff's Office, Broken Bow Fire and Rescue responded to the call. Broken Bow Police Department and the Nebraska State Patrol helped at the scene.
