Megan Weatherwax and Joel Jacobs were united in marriage Oct. 2, 2010, at the Planet Hollywood Resort in Las Vegas, Nev. Parents of the couple are Charlie and Mary Weatherwax of Sioux Falls, S.D., and Kirk and Jodi Jacobs of Mullen. Attendants for the couple were Kelly Weatherwax, sister of the bride from Sioux Falls, Andy Wright of Lincoln, and Jesse Jacobs of Kearney, both brothers of the groom. A reception was held following the poolside ceremony. Following a honeymoon trip to Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic, the couple are at home in Omaha where Joel is a financial advisor with Wells Fargo Advisors and Megan is a real estate appraiser for Real.Corp.
