Mr. & Mrs. Joel Varah

Allison Fees of Miller, and Joel Varah of Broken Bow, were married June 23, 2012, at Grace Lutheran Church in Pleasanton. Pastor Dean Hanson officiated the service with Father Mike McDonald speaking before the service began.
Bridesmaids were Roxanna Fees, Carmen Wolfe, Katie Cunningham, Sarah Foster, Melissa Weeder, Sarah Walquist and Rachel Tietjen. The flowergirl was Elizabeth Duhs and personal attendant was Margaret Lange.
Groomsmen were Ryan Sestak, Will Deines, Bob Ury, Travis Rodak, Preston Corman, Ryan Tietjen and Dylan Covalt. Ringbearers were Sean and Shane Hammock. Candlelighters were Seth Hammock and Mark Montague. Ushers were
Jesse Fees, Randall Fees and Brady Mickelson.
The soloist was Sarah Walquist and the organist was Carol Lee Johnson.
Parents of the couple are Kermit and Linda Fees of Miller and Kirk and Kay Varah of Bridgeport. Grandparents of the couple are Evelyn Fees of Miller, Walter and Meredith Ulbricht of Lakefield, Minn., Helga Tschacher of Scottsbluff and Joyce Whitaker of Bridgeport.
Following the wedding service, a reception and dance were held at the Younes Center in Kearney.
Their honeymoon was a trip to Rome, followed by a Mediterranean Cruise.
The bride is the art teacher at Litchfield Public School and the groom is the compliance engineer at BD in Broken Bow. They live in Broken Bow.
