Mr. & Mrs. Travis Sterner

Travis Sterner of Merna and Wynne Klug of Columbus were united in marriage by the Rev. Aaron Witt Nov. 17, 2012, at Christ Lutheran Church in rural Columbus.
Parents of the couple are Ed Sterner of North Platte and Linda Sterner of Merna, and Jim and Ivy Klug of Columbus. Grandparents are Marvin and Esther Sterner, and Everett and Arlene Moninger of Merna, and Ruth Bakenhus of Columbus.
Honor attendants were Fran Groteluschen of Columbus and Kevin Blakeman of Merna. Brides-maids included Mollie Robertson of Elsie, Crystal Klug and Michaela Beller of Columbus, Dani Went of Leigh, Mackenzie Johnston of Brewster, and Rachel Malena of Leigh. Groomsmen were Terry Sterner of Merna, Tim Sterner of North Platte, Todd Thompson, Chanc McIntosh both of Merna, Reece Klug and Beau Klug both of Columbus.Ushers were Luke Smith of Milburn, Troy Eberle, Geoff Cook both of Broken Bow, Clay Grotelus-chen of Columbus, Nick Rush of Merna.
Candle lighters were Alicia Korte of Kearney and Hailee Stover of Columbus. Flower girls were Atley Groteluschen and Gentry Klug of Columbus. Ring bearers were Dalton and Jacob Sterner of North Platte and Briggs Klug of Columbus.
Soloists were Luther Bakenhus and Karlynn Mueller. Jessica Muhle was the organist and accompanist. Whitney Brabec and Jenna Spangler, were personal attendants for the bride. Cousins of the bride, Megan Patel and Page Klug, were flower attendants. Kiley Janousek and Sara Wendt were program attendants.
Host couples for the reception held at the Ag Park in Columbus were Bill and Susan Klug, Clifford and Jeri Sterner, Terry and Spring Wendt, and Junior and Nancy Willis. Ed and Diane Klug and David Sterner were the guest book attendants. Serving cake were Lynn Eisenbarth and Gay Stover.
The couple will honeymoon at Moon Palace Resort and Spa in Cancun, Mexico. They reside in Merna where the groom is employed at Adams Land & Cattle as a backgrounding coordinator and is a self-employed farmer. He has a degree from University of Nebraska in Lincoln in Grazing Livestock Systems and Animal Science. The bride is a graduate of
University of Nebraska in Lincoln earning a degree in Agriculture Economics. She works at Farm Credit of America in Broken Bow.
