Mr. & Mrs. Vex Okoth

Erica Diane Duryea and Vex Okoth were united in marriage June 26, 2013, after eloping to Hawaii where they were wed on Kona Beach. Officiant was the Rev. James Patrick Thompson.
The bride is the daughter of Sally and Dennis Lehn of Shelton, and Matthew and Betty Duryea of Lexington. Her grandparents are LaVern and Leona Duryea of Mason City.
The groom is the son of Freda Okoth of Nairobi, Kenya, and the late Okoth Rawo.
Erica is employed as a flight attendant with United Airlines. Vex works as a sales supervisor for Maersk, Inc.
The bride wore a floor length pink and purple floral gown, while the groom was dressed in a matching pink shirt and white trousers. Erica carried a bouquet of white tropical flowers, and the couple exchanged pink leis - a Hawaiian tradition during the wedding ceremony.
