New hotel is open - Ribbon cutting set for Thursday

October 29, 2013

October 16, 2013, Cobblestone Hotels opened the beautiful Cobblestone Hotel and Suites and One Box Convention Center in Broken Bow, and brought their presence in Nebraska to five hotels. A ribbon cutting ceremony, which Governor Dave Heineman is scheduled to attend, is planned for Thursday, Oct. 31, at 5:30 p.m.

“The hotel and convention center is a great addition to Nebraska as a whole” says Brian Wogernese, President of Cobblestone Hotels, LLC. “A property like this, in the heart of Nebraska, will help to stimulate the economy in many ways and Cobblestone is excited to be a part of that.”

The property opens just in time for the 53rd Annual Nebraska One Box Pheasant Hunt. “The community in Broken Bow has been extremely supportive and hands on throughout this entire process” says Jeremy Griesbach, Vice President of Development for BriMark Builders, Developer/Builders on this project. “We should not be surprised by the support of the Cobblestone Brand in Nebraska. As I work on more and more projects in this great state, more and more communities are requesting the brand.”

The Cobblestone Hotel and Suites and One Box Convention Center features 36 guest rooms, including whirlpool suites, with amenities such as microwaves and refrigerators, coffee service, free high speed internet, and flat panel televisions in each room. The Cobblestone Hotel and Suites will also feature an on-site beer and wine bar, meeting room, indoor pool and whirlpool, exercise equipment, guest laundry facility, convenience store and over six thousand square feet of meeting space in the One Box Convention Center. A complimentary hot breakfast bar and weekday newspaper will be available daily to guests of the Cobblestone Hotel and Suites as well.
