Patsy Barrett, 77

Patsy Barrett, age 77 of Central City, formerly of Merna, died Friday, April 18, 2014, at the Central City Care Center in Central City.
Memorial services were Tuesday, April 22, 2014, at Govier Brothers Mortuary in Broken Bow with the Rev. Todd Karges officiating. Burial was in the Merna Cemetery with Govier Brothers Mortuary of Broken Bow in charge of the arrangements.
Patsy Barrett was born Nov. 27, 1936, to Joy and Beryl (Tooker) Barrett at Merna. She graduated from Merna High School and attended the Grand Island Business School. Patsy later moved to Washington D.C. to work for the FBI.
Patsy is survived by her brothers, John (Kay) Barrett of Omaha, and Martin (Rose) Barrett of York; sisters, Arlene Rodriguez of Rolling Hills, Calif., Lois (Don) Whiteman of Broken Bow, and Helen (Dick) Strehle of Grand Island. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister Virginia, and a brother Frank.
