Richard D. Parish, age 66, of Broken Bow died Nov. 25, 2010, at his home in Broken Bow. Richard D. Parish was born July 26, 1944, in Fayetteville, Ark., to Everett and Jane (Dickinson) Parish. Richard moved to Broken Bow in 1970. Richard worked at The Lobby, Uncle Ed's and the Broken Bow Elks Lodge.
Richard loved to people watch. He loved to observe those around him. Richard will be remembered for his charming smile and wonderful outlook on life. His sparkling eyes and brilliant smile brightened many a day.
Richard is survived by his sister, Carol Parish of Broken Bow; his MNIS family; his friends at the High Rise; and a host of community friends to mourn his passing.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and one sister, Virginia Townsend.
Funeral services were Nov. 29, 2010, at Govier Brothers Mortuary in Broken Bow with the Rev. Kathy Salts officiating. Burial was in the Alma Cemetery. Govier Bros. Mortuary was in charge of arrangements.
