Sandhills/Thedford girls edge Sioux County 55-51, head to state; Lady Spartans lose to St. Marys

Ansley-Litchfield's Alivia Wardyn keeps the St. Marys offensive player from getting to the basket Friday night in their game against St. Marys. It was the Cardinals advancing to the state tournament with a 55-31 win.

Sandhills/Thedford will advance to the state tournament with a 55-51 win over Sioux County Friday night. Ansley-Litchfield saw their season come to an end Friday night with a 55-31 loss to St. Mary's of O'Neill. Mullen, who had a chance at a wildcard, saw those hopes fade as they didn't get enough outside help.
