Broken Bow Police Chief Steve Scott joins law enforcement officers across the nation in honoring the police officers who were killed and wounded yesterday in Dallas. "It's sad, very sad," he said and indicated the black bland with a blue stripe across his badge. "It's in honor of the fallen officers," he said. "We are all touched by the situation."

Yesterday a man opened fire on police at the end of an otherwise peaceful rally in Dallas. According to national news reports, five officers were killed and seven were wounded. Police strapped explosives to a robot and sent it into the building where the shooter was, killing the shooter when the device exploded. Authorities in Dallas continue to investigate whether there were more people involved.
